The Mt. Washington Valley is a perfect location to view New Englands spectacular scenery. The surrounding White Mountain National Forest offers plenty of opportunites for scenic drives and fabulous hikes. Our bed and breakfast is located right on The White Mountains Trail which was designated a National Scenic Byway. The Trail is a loop tour that winds through sections of the 800,000-acre White Mountain National Forest and past many of the region’s most popular attractions. In the summer, the Mt. Washington Valley offers everything from horseback riding to hiking with plenty of biking, swimming, waterfalls and mountain top adventure in-between.
- Those hoping to explore Mount Washington can choose from guided van rides to their own car for trips up the Mt. Washington Auto Road, the first man made attraction in the country. For those who’d rather go by train, a trip to the top of the Northeast’s highest peak on the famous Cog Railroad is always a thrill.
