The Covered Bridge House is a cozy B&B located on the Saco River next to the original 1850s Bartlett Covered Bridge. With only 5 guestrooms, including one suite,  you are assured personal, friendly attention.

Enjoy the beauty of the Saco River in our backyard – swim or tube, sunbathe on the rocks or soak in our outdoor hot tub after a full day of hiking, skiing or shopping. We are close to ski areas, outlet shops, golf, the White Mountains National Forest, hiking trails, waterfalls,  and many excellent restaurants.

Our inn was aptly named for our most unique feature – our covered bridge.  We never dreamed that we that we would buy a bridge, but we did!

Our gift shoppe will be open December 14th & 15th!

Great Skiing & Riding

Minutes to Attitash, with Bretton Woods, Cranmore, Wildcat & Black Mountain a short ride from the Inn. Jackson Cross Country ski area and Bear Notch Ski area just down the road – great winter fun location!

We have returned again and again to this lovely inn! If you are visiting the White Mountains, this is the perfect place to stay. Dan and Nancy are exceptional innkeepers and their property along the Saco River makes for a perfect place to relax. Do not miss their breakfast – it is incredible!

Had an incredible experience at the B and B. The hosts are amazing and the inn is immaculate and very well maintained!! Extremely reasonable! The free tubing along the River was an added bonus. The breakfasts are delicious!!! Strongly recommend!

Charming B&B that lives up to its reputation. Hosts Dan and Nancy super friendly. Wonderful breakfast, with exceptional French toast and blueberry pancakes. Good location with easy access to Mt. Washington. Would certainly come back again.

We chose the accomodation because of its proximity to Attitash Mountain and were very pleasantly surprised: Nancy and Dan are great hosts, the breakfast was phantastic, the rooms were nice and clean and the beds comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

We took our snowshoes for a trek at Great Glen Trails and had a wonderful time.  The Aqueduct Loop Trail is 3 miles long and took us about 1 1/2 with many stops for pictures.  The scenery was fabulous!
