Hike up Mt. Washington

Earlier this week we took advantage of  the beautiful weather and went for a hike up Mt.Washington.  We hiked up on the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail which starts from the parking area just below the cog railway.  The trail was very steep in spots but offered amazing views along the way.  Once we reached the Lakes of the Clouds Hut we took the Crawford Path to the summit of Mt. Washington.  This was the most incredible trail as it follows the ridgeline offering spectacular views in every direction.  I highly recommend it!  After a brief stop at the summit we continued down the mountain on the Gulfside Trail to the Jewell Trail.  This trail was a good choice for our descent as it is not nearly as steep as the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail.
